Candle Light Vigil in Solidarity with London, ON. Victims of terrorist act— Revised Date & Time (Thursday, 10th of June @ 8:00 pm)

Dear Community Members, Assalam o allakum!

The Muslim community of Canada is heartbroken in the wake of planned targeted terrorism in London, Ontario. “Pakistani origin Salman’s Family” were brutally murdered by a 20yr old white male, Nathaniel Veltman, killing them with his truck and drove away.

This devastating act of extreme hate has been confirmed by the London Police to abe premeditated hate crime/terrorism against Muslims, and it serves as a reminder of the long shadow of Islamophobia that is casted on the lives of peaceful Muslim families across the world.

Muslims themselves have the responsibility to ensure that they are engaged in a process of creating the awareness on Islamophobia in Canada and demand the justice for Salman Family, as such, on behalf of Pakistani community in national capital region, Salam Pakistan Canada has officially organized Candle Light Vigil in downtown Ottawa to stand against the terrorism/hate crime committed against Salman’s family in London Ontario along with hate crimes repeatedly committed against Muslims across Canada.
