Candle Light Vigil in Solidarity with London, ON. Victims of hate crime

Dear Community Members, Assalam o allakum!
The Muslim community of Canada is heartbroken in the wake of targeted hate crime in London, Ontario. Pakistani origin Salman’s Family were brutally murdered by a 20yr old white male, Nathaniel Veltman, killing them with his truck and drove away.
This devastating act of hate has been confirmed by the London Police to abe premeditated hate crime against Muslims, and it serves as a reminder of the long shadow of Islamophobia that is casted on the lives of peaceful Muslim families across the world.
Muslims themselves have the responsibility to ensure that they are engaged in a process of creating the awareness on Islamophobia in Canada and demand the justice for Salman Family, as such, Salam Pakistan Canada has organized Candle Light Vigil in downtown Ottawa to stand against the hate crime committed against Salman’s family in London Ontario along with hate crimes repeatedly committed against Muslims across Canada.
